Danny Johnson started laying bricks at sixteen. Twenty years later, Johnsons Building Services employs a settled team of bricklayers, joiners, plasterers, electricians and Gas-Safe plumbers — all directly managed, all paid properly, all answerable to one project lead per job. We don't subcontract jobs out and disappear. The same site manager who quotes your extension is the same person who hands you the keys to your finished kitchen-diner. That continuity is why so much of our work comes from referrals and repeat clients. Our specialism is structural domestic work — single and double-storey extensions, loft and garage conversions, kitchen and bathroom installations, and whole-house renovations. We don't chase commercial fit-outs or new-builds. Yorkshire homes, done properly, is all we do. Mission & Standards ## The standards every job is held to. ### Built to Building Regs + Every structural element exceeds current Building Regulations. We submit drawings, arrange inspections, and hand you the completion certificate. ### Fixed written quotes No day-rate guesswork. You receive a line-itemised quote within 48 hours that locks in labour, materials and timeline before we start. ### 10-year workmanship guarantee If anything we built moves, leaks or fails because of our workmanship within 10 years, we return and fix it at our cost. In writing. ### Service philosophy — six non-negotiables Site swept clean every Friday Dust sheets and floor protection on every interior job One project lead — one phone number — for the whole build Weekly written progress update with photos No cash-in-hand pricing — every job invoiced Neighbours notified before noisy works Measurable Proof ## Numbers that matter when you're trusting someone with your home. 20+ Years trading 800+ Projects completed <24h Quote response time 10-yr Workmanship guarantee Public liability £5m FMB-grade workmanship CHAS-aligned H&S Image: Beautifully completed traditional Yorkshire stone family home with modern rear extension at golden hour (https://johnsonsbuildingservicesyorkshire.co.uk/assets/cta-yorkshire-home-SjschQWs.jpg) ## Ready to start the conversation?
